What we are
GetLawyerWebsite is a website design and management company serving law firms. We are not a law firm, attorney or legal service provider. We do not practice law, we are not licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction, and nothing on this site or on a site we build for a client is a substitute for the advice of a licensed attorney.
No legal advice
Content on getlawyerwebsite.com is about websites, search and intake for law firms. It is general information for attorneys and firm administrators and is not legal advice. Content on a site we build for a client firm describes that firm, its practice areas and its processes in general terms; it is not legal advice about any person's situation, and every such page says so. Decisions about a legal matter should be made with a licensed attorney.
No attorney-client relationship
Reading a site we build, sending a consultation request through it, using the fee and retainer estimator, or speaking to an AI receptionist on it does not create an attorney-client relationship with the firm. That relationship is formed only when the firm and the person agree to it, on the firm's own terms, after the firm has completed its own intake and conflict checks. Forms on client sites carry a statement to this effect in wording the firm approves.
Articles and general information
Articles we publish here, and articles we write for client sites, are researched and cite their sources. They describe general situations and never a specific person's circumstances. Figures are drawn from the cited sources at the time of writing and may change. Articles on client sites are reviewed by the firm before publication and can be corrected or withdrawn by the firm at any time.
The fee and retainer estimator
The fee and retainer estimator on a site we build produces an illustrative figure based on the fee arrangements the firm has published. It is not a quote, not a price commitment, not legal advice, and not an assessment of any matter. Using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The figure a firm actually charges is set by the firm in its engagement agreement with the client.
AI agents
Where a client's plan includes an AI receptionist, chat or messaging agents, those agents describe the firm, take inquiry details and book consultations. They are configured not to give legal advice, not to quote fees they have not been given, and to hand anything that would amount to advice to a person at the firm. Conversations are logged and available to the firm.
Attorney advertising rules
Attorney advertising is regulated by each state's rules of professional conduct. The client firm is responsible for the accuracy of what it asks us to publish and for compliance with the rules that apply to it, including any required statements and disclaimers. We publish the wording the firm approves, we do not write or invent results, and we never add a claim about outcomes.
Results
Every firm is different. Examples of client outcomes on this site are illustrative unless they are labeled as a verified review, and they concern websites and intake, never legal matters. Our guarantees are set out in the terms and conditions and are limited to what is stated there.
Third-party links and services
This site links to third-party services, including hosting, scheduling and messaging providers. We are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
