Affordable law firm website design means no hidden costs, not just a low sticker price

Affordable law firm website design is measured by total cost, not the number on the homepage. A cheap template can end up costing more once hosting, a security plugin, a page-builder license and an hourly developer are added. Our plans start at $137 a month with hosting, a domain and revisions already included.

What it costs

  • Plans$137 a month
  • Build fee$797, after launch
  • Live in7 days
  • Revisions5 a month
  • Domain and hostingIncluded

Where the hidden costs usually hide

A low-cost template or DIY builder often looks affordable until the real bill arrives: a hosting plan, an SSL certificate, a premium plugin license, and an hourly developer for anything beyond dragging a block. None of those show up in the advertised price, and together they frequently cost more per month than a fully managed plan that includes all of it.

What "included" actually means here

Every plan includes a free domain registered in your firm's name, Cloudflare hosting with SSL and unmetered bandwidth, and 5 revisions a month with no hourly billing. There is no line item for any of these, because they are part of the monthly fee rather than upsells decided on later.

Affordable does not mean a thin build

The entry plan, Counsel, carries the same practice area pages, attorney bios, fee estimator and intake connection as the higher plans; the higher plans add the AI Engine and the Content Engine on top, they do not unlock features that should have been in the base plan. The $797 build fee is invoiced only once the site is live and approved, so there is no upfront risk in trying it.

When a cheaper option is genuinely the wrong choice

A firm handling a high volume of consultation requests, or one that has already lost rankings to a slow site, usually loses more in missed calls than a managed plan costs. Affordable is about avoiding waste, not about paying the least possible amount regardless of what it costs the firm in lost intake.

What you get

Questions about affordable law firm website design

What does the $137 a month plan actually include?

The full site build: home page, practice area pages, attorney bios, office pages, the fee estimator, intake CRM connection, hosting, a free domain and revisions. It is not a limited starter tier.

Is there a cheaper option than the Counsel plan?

Counsel is the entry plan and carries the complete website build. Chambers and Firmwide add the AI Engine and Content Engine on top for firms that want them; they are not required to get a full site.

Are there fees you charge later that are not on the pricing page?

No. The pricing page lists the monthly fee, the one-time build fee and the cost of an extra revision beyond the included five. There are no other charges.

Is a free website builder actually cheaper in the long run?

Often not once you add the time spent building it, a premium theme or plugin license, and the hosting and security costs that most free builders do not disclose upfront.
